WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) Chris Snelling's two-run home run
in the sixth inning broke a 1-1 tie and ignited the Tacoma Rainiers
to an 11-3 victory over the Sacramento River Cats on Saturday
night.
Adrian Myers highlighted Tacoma's seven-run eighth inning with a
three-run double and Mickey Lopez added a two-run single.
Sacramento had 11 hits but left 14 runners on base. The River
Cats left the bases loaded in the seventh, eighth and ninth
innings.
Mike Lockwood had two hits, including a double, and scored a run
for the River Cats.
