Wednesday April 02, 2003
LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) The 2004 Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred
Championships were awarded Wednesday to Lone Star Park.

``The Dallas-Fort Worth area is one of the nation's great sports
markets, and Lone Star Park has done an excellent job of
establishing first-class racing there,'' said Breeders' Cup
president D. G. Van Clief Jr.
The 20th running of the Breeders' Cup is scheduled for Oct. 25,
2003, at Santa Anita in Arcadia, Calif.
