Tuesday November 12, 2002

LOS ANGELES (AP) Three people were shot, including a 12-year-old boy, in a drive-by shooting Tuesday afternoon involving a black stretch Humvee limousine, police officials said.

The unidentified 12-year-old boy was shot in the leg. Two men in their 30s also were hit by gunfire, said Officer Jason Lee, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.

None of the victims appeared to suffer life threatening wounds, Lee said.

The shooting occurred about 4 p.m. at an intersection in south Los Angeles.

No details were available on the motive for the shooting and it was not clear if any of the occupants of the limousine were struck.

``Right now we have no suspect description, no nothing,'' Lee said.
