REDDING, Calif. (AP) Eight alleged operators of a Northern
California methamphetamine ``superlab'' have been indicted on
federal charges, the U.S. attorney's office said Thursday.
The indictments are the result of a joint federal, state and
local investigation, prosecutors said, with the details to be
announced Friday at a news conference in Redding.
Prosecutors said the event will include sheriffs from Shasta,
Tehama and Trinity counties, along with the federal Drug
Enforcement Administration.
