Santa Monica resident arrested by FBI under sealed warrant

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) FBI agents arrested a Santa Monica
resident under a sealed warrant Tuesday and also searched the
person's home, an agency spokeswoman said.
KNBC-TV, citing anonymous federal sources, reported that the
person arrested was a Korean immigrant under investigation for ``a
national security issue.''
FBI spokeswoman Cheryl Mimura would only confirm that agents
executed arrest and search warrants at on a Santa Monica home at 3
p.m. and that documents seeking the warrants had been sealed by the
U.S. Central District Court.
She declined to release any information on the person arrested,
including name, age or sex.
