Tom Loffman
Good Day Sacramento viewers can now get their weather forecast created "from scratch" by Chief Meteorologist Tom Loffman. Tom's been forecasting Sacramento's weather since 1978-longer than anyone else in the market.
After graduating from UC Berkeley in 1976, Tom began his television career at WTLV in Jacksonville, Florida. He then worked at KRON in San Francisco before moving to Sacramento where he worked at KCRA and KOVR.
Tom combines three decades of forecasting for Northern California with his American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval for weathercasters to bring you the most accurate and up-to-date information.
When not studying the skies, Tom admits to being an "exercise nut" who also loves photography, travel and the stock market.
